A Day,In My Privilege.


We have fought wars since time immemorial, since the days of Australopithecus. We fought wars for our wives and kids and community in general. Wars that neither had a winner or looser.But we fought anyways .We believed in leaving a better "community"  for the people to come after us.It was an  inheritance with no will just blood. 

This land, this system,this patriarchy is lined with our blood through and through. We suffer in silence,you only see our wins,but you never see the tears,the sweat and blood before victory. In fact it's been instilled in our DNA to hide it from you.

We die in droves,suffering is primal, verily, we are never  worthy to stand before our peers without an ounce of ache and subsequent scars. This is true  across races,tribes and predates  the Sapiens. 

Stories of killing a lion and surviving a war were & still are, highly praised. Am I sorry for patriarchy ?NO. Am I apologetic for my maleness? NEIN. I'm simply basking on the glory of my ancestors, i'm honoring them for their sacrifices. This is what they fought & died for.

Iam pro Women empowerment,heck we need it. We need more women in war,in hard labour coz for every (1 ceo there are 200 hard labourers,its the hard truth), more women in prison for committing crimes of passion,of Statutory rape! The rise of female suicides. More women losing custody battles and paying child support. More women on the  front lines of societal expectations. Live a day,in my "PRIVILEGE".  

I emphasize,I am pro women (women empower),but not at the expense of my Maleness,not on my watch. "No way No". I will fight like my ancestors did and I will die for this,for its not a war of malice,its a war for my survival,and its not all about me but along standing tradition passed from one generation of men to the next;and I will be damned if that stops with me.

 "Women and children must be saved first". Do you how it feels to be dispensable?!!

Its in that view point I implore you to  Stand tall and remain unapologetic in you having Testosterone. Let it guide you, as it did our archaic forefathers; and smile for our mothers, sisters,daughters & wives adored our bravery as we brought home a Bounty from a hunt and spoils from a War.

Maintain your Frame & Game,let no one define your maleness for or to you.Be Primal.Protect,Provide & Conquer. You are Bigger, Smarter & Stronger, the characteristics of an Alpha. A leader.So be it.
