Unpopular Opinion.
If you study the church's history and how much political and socioeconomic power it has had since the later days of emperor Constantine, you will release how much Christian dogma has fallen for those who argue that the church will stand forever.
As much as it has survived every attack on its fundamental belief, with each strike, it has grown weaker, and it can only continue on this down word curve. With every scientific and technological advancement and discovery, a whole is pierced on the rib of Jesus Christ, the savior. The church has grown liberal to a point where a pope has openly supported gay marriages.
The only religion that has the strength to fight liberalism is Islam. Still, it lacks the power and verve to recruit or pass its conservative dogma to countries outside the middle east as long as it remains so it will remain politically and economically stagnant. And as long as the west will psychically reject a Muslim leader or the Arab world lacking the prowess to be leading political powers as U.S & recently China, sheria law will only remain within the bloody borders of the middle east.
We are moving towards a secular world, and this is a cause for celebration for religious dogma is directly responsible for some of the worlds notable suffering from the Christian crusades, Spanish Inquisition, witch trials, twin tower bombing of 9\11 and two that hit home recently; west gate killing 68 and Garissa University attack that killed 174.
May their families find peace.
